Closing statement

Overall this not only has been a long, tiring process, it has also be exciting and rewarding, from dealing with conflicting schedules to the odd 5 minute laughing blooper, the creation of my main, and final ever product contains an array of emotions, I can definitely see the growth from AS to A2 in regards to my skills and work ethic, I am very proud and happy about the products I have created, being able to create something from an idea in your head to see it fully edited and published is an amazing feeling, this process has been worth all "Up All Night" blogging (pun intended) and 5+ hour editing sessions. I am proud of not only myself, but my teammates and my classmates.

How did you use media technologies in the construction and research planning and evaluation?

What have you learnt from audience feedback?

How effective is the combination of your main products and ancillary texts?

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

Final Digipak

Final Advert

Final Music Video

As you can see, we've made the changes we got from the audience feedback, the video is now much better with these changes and not only follows conventions but slightly challenges them too!

Student Digipak Analysis

This is a previous Students' Digipak, I like the house style and colour scheme used, there's a prevalent winter theme, however, I feel the CD is quite plain and there's little panels so it's not an accurate portrayal of  real Digipak which would usually contain at least 6 panels

Digipak analysis

I have done a digipak analysis on 4 different albums, two of which are rap, one pop and one rock, I done these range of genres to see how different genres of music create and present their music, from this I found that a digipak design is down to creative interpretation, most digipaks follow a basic structure of a front cover, back cover, left panel, right panel and an extra panel, however how it's laid out and accompaniments that come with it is down to the artist/production company

Final Digipak!

This is our final digipak, from looking at it I am quite happy that there's a clear housestyle however I feel it does need some major changes and revamping to move it to the top band, possible changes including adding a frame to the back cover, adding a side panel and making sure both pictures used for the inside cover look similar as one is darker than the other.

Digipak rough Ideas

This is a rough sketch one of my team members created for our digipak

As you can see there's a clear convention there, there's loads of money, jewlerry and girls, this correlates with the hip-hop/rap genre as it is very riches dominant. The album name 'money dance'  also correlates with the genre as it is about riches and connotes wealth
